Farsley Cubs, Review;

  • A massive thanks to Dave for his visit to our Cub Scout meeting. We've never seen our Cubs so engaged and captivated which is a tough call to impress this age group these days especially as we had 28 Cubs ranging from almost 8 to 10 & a half. The presentation was expertly pitched for the age group and offered a nice balance of history, demonstration and hands-on time to touch and feel the impressive collection of equipment. Communication was excellent from the outset and Dave was happy to amend his programme to suit our needs and interests. He was confident and comfortable managing the group which made things so much easier for our Leaders. Dave also showed great understanding of health and safety and safeguarding issues to ensure the meeting passed without a hitch. We had fantastic feedback from Cubs, parents and Leaders alike and we've already booked him for a repeat visit!

"I am writing to thank you for the wonderfully entertaining talk you gave to the members of Leeds u3a yesterday afternoon.

You took us on a fascinating journey through 120 years of police history, all enhanced by your extraordinary collection of police equipment and uniforms and sharing some very moving stories connected to a few of the items on display.

It was clear that you are extremely proud of your time in the police service and happy to share your passion for its history.

You gave us very unique presentation and created a lot of interest amongst our members."
